Opened in 1993, the Gering Civic Center is Western Nebraska’s premier multi-function conference and meeting facility. The Center features 26,250 square feet of flexible event space across eight meeting rooms, accommodating up to 1,150 guests in theater-style seating. Seven of the rooms can be combined to create a spacious Grand Ballroom. In 2022, the nearly 30-year-old facility underwent a complete renovation, adding a stunning fireplace, modernized restrooms, and built-in projectors in every meeting room. Situated along the historic Old Oregon Trail in the heart of downtown Gering, the Civic Center provides an ideal setting for events of all kinds.
Faithful Creations Catering was founded in 1998 by Terri Tosh, who blended her love of baking with a passion for bringing people together through exceptional food. Over the years, Faithful Creations has built a diverse and trusted legacy—serving as a corporate caterer in Northern Colorado for more than 15 years, creating unforgettable culinary experiences for special occasions for over two decades, and supporting the nutritional programs of healthcare facilities since 2018.
Today, Terri and her dedicated team are proud to serve as the exclusive in-house catering company for the Gering Civic Center. In addition to the Civic Center, Gering offers several distinctive off-site venues. Overlooking the scenic North Platte River Valley, the Five Rocks Amphitheater is surrounded by five striking rock formations and provides a memorable backdrop for summer concerts, cocktail receptions, chuck wagon cookouts, and evening performances for conference attendees. Additional venues include Monument Shadows Golf Course, an 18-hole course that combines a challenging layout with breathtaking views of Scotts Bluff National Monument.
